CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ACTIVITIES AT AIR CARGO MALAWI LIMITED

Air Cargo Malawi Limited donates One Million and Twenty Four Thousand Kwacha (MWK1,024,000.00) towards World Postal Day for the Purchase of walking sticks (Stylus) to aid students at Mulanje School for the Blind. ACM has for several years now participated in this annual event which commemorates the postal services. The event is celebrated on 9th October Worldwide every year since 1969, interest in achieving Sustainable Development Goals. In Malawi, the event revolves amongst the regional blocks and different sectors. The focus for 2017 was on Education for the Sight Challenged School in Mulanje. The Donation forms part of the Company’s commitment in giving back to the community.

2017 NATION PUBLICATIONS MOTHER’S DAY FUN RUN

ACM’s representative receiving a token of appreciation from NPL Chief Executive Officer, Ms Mbumba Banda. Air Cargo Malawi partners with Nation Publications in supporting the 2017 Mother’s Day Fun Run held in Blantyre. Realising that a Healthy Nation results in active economic activities, Air Cargo Malawi Ltd has partnered Nation Publications Ltd in its initiative to support the Safe Motherhood in Malawi. ACM contributed medical items worth MWK1,035,000.00 (One Million and Thirty Five Thousand Kwacha). The event was celebrated in Blantyre at Queens Central Hospital.
